Omnidirectional tires are generally performance or snow tires. Either way, you need a tire that has the best grip it possibly can. A tire rotation can help your performance dramatically.

Omnidirectional tires pose a unique set of problems for tire wear. A tire rotation for omnidirectional tires involves swapping the front and rear tires instead. Tire swapping will help correct some wear issues. It will also make sure your drive tires, whether front or back, will wear evenly. Because you can't move driver front to passenger front, any alignment problems will be a serious issue for your tire wear. You'll want to make sure to watch for signs of your vehicle being out of alignment, such as pulling or if your steering wheel is off of center when driving straight, and have it corrected before your tires wear too much.
