Its 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine labors in lockstep with an electric motor that's fed by a lithium-ion battery pack. Coupled to a continuously variable transmission, the Fusion Hybrid makes an impressive 188 horsepower.
And it's certainly no slouch on the fuel-efficiency front, either, as the Fusion Hybrid is estimated to achieve 42 mpg combined (44 city/41 highway).
